Gordon Mucha passed away peacefully at Abbotsford Hospital on August 2nd, 2017. Gordon was born on August 25th, 1943 in Nakusp, BC. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, June; his daughter Arianne (Silas) , son Ashley (Meagan), daughter Suzette, son Terry and 3 wonderful grandsons Myles, Weston, and McCoy. He is also survived by his brothers Dennis (Maxine), Harold (Patty) and sisters Carol and Anita (Bruce) as well as many nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his father Louis, mother Elina and sisters Ellen and Linda.
Gordon grew up in Naskup where he started his career in the logging and construction business. Gordon married June in 1977 and they created a wonderful life together in Chilliwack with their children. Gordon had a vibrant personality, witty sense of humor and abundant love for family especially his grandsons who could do no wrong in his eyes. He was a kind, caring man who always put others first. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
