

Marilynn was born to Joe and Mary Lahosky of Theodore, Saskatchewan. She grew up on the farm and attended two different small country grade schools, Poplar Grove and Lesanko. She later went to high school in Theodore.
Marilynn left the farm and went to training as a Laboratory Technologist. She worked at the lab in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, then moved to Saskatoon. While she was there, she met Dale Erikson from Buchanan, Saskatchewan, and they married on August 6, 1966. They bought a farm in the Buchanan area where they grew cereal grains and bred Charolais cattle, also importing a heifer from France. While on the farm, Marilynn worked at the lab at Canora Union Hospital. They were blessed with two sons, Dean and Grant, and five grandchildren who they really enjoy spending time with.
Marilynn enjoyed a lot of travelling with her husband, Dale, which included 23 cruises as well as trips to Mexico, Europe, and across Canada including Newfoundland.
Marilynn is much loved and will be dearly missed. A Memorial service occur in her honour on Friday, August 28th. Service details are listed below.
