Louise was an inspiration to all. She was a compassionate person who championed others, especially her children. She believed in kindness and lovingly noted strength in others. Louise donated to various charities and volunteered at the Chilliwack Hospice Society Thrift Boutique. Just like her Dad, she loved to garden, tending to vegetables and flowers at her home. She loved animals, in particular elephants and family dogs. Louise took great joy in travelling and visited places near and far for grand adventures with both her family and friends. She enjoyed baking and cooking and had a nice selection of spices to show for it! Louise always enjoyed attending her Friday morning TOPS club and appreciated the kindness they provided over the past few months. Most of all, Louise loved her family. We miss her presence dearly.
Louise is lovingly remembered by her husband, Glen, her children, Shelley (Sam), Catherine (Claire), James (Linda), her grandchildren, Tanner, Ainsley, Peyton, her sister Susan (George) and by Glen’s family, daughters Lori (Aaron), Kelly (Chris), Shelley (Rochelle) and grandchildren Reid, Taylor, Jordan, Sasha, Layla and Max. Louise is also fondly remembered by her many friends and her besties, Janet and Hope. She is predeceased by her other bestie, Barb.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Low and Dr. Madill, the Chilliwack Hospital Acute Care Team, Home Care Nursing Staff and the Team at Cascade Hospice for the care, kindness and compassion exhibited to Louise.
A celebration of Louise’s life will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Rd, Chilliwack, BC.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Chilliwack Hospice Society (for Cascade Hospice).
