Nels Frederick Pedersen

Nels is survived by his mother, Betty Pedersen; his daughter, Tracey Pedersen (Lonny); his son, Shane Pedersen (Sheri); his sister, Rita Linden; his brother, Terry Pedersen (Brenda); four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Eric Pedersen, and his grandson, Brandon Allarie.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Fairfield Island Scouts Hall (Kinsmen Hall), 47130 Hope River Road, Chilliwack, BC.

Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation in Nels’s honour.

Nels spent his career as a truck driver, primarily in logging, with some time on the highway as well. He loved cruising the open road on his Goldwing motorcycle alongside his brother Terry and cousin Rick Pedersen. A skilled woodworker and mechanic, Nels enjoyed tinkering in his shop and creating with his hands. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His laughter, generosity, and love of family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
