He was born December 6th, 1944 in St. Boniface, Manitoba.
Norm is survived by mother Ruth Barbour, wife Beth, son John (Linsey), daughter Pat (Nolan), grandkids, Callum, Sophie, Katlyn (Michael), Keagan, and Kim. Great grandkids Beckham, and Ellie as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Gerald Barbour.
Born and raised in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Norm started his career in selling used cars. In 1967 he moved to Kelowna, B.C. and started work in service stations which led him to owning his own small business of selling cars. He had a love for the road and car auctions. In 1989, Norm moved to Chilliwack to be with his mother and continued to work until his final days. Norm loved life and made friends everywhere he went.
He will be dearly missed by all that knew him, especially by his mother, wife, and family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Norm’s name.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
