Dr. Ralph Charles Hopkins passed on October 1, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on March 9, 1942, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ralph was a resident of Agassiz, British Columbia. Ralph lived a full life dedicated to his family, his profession and community service.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife Donna, his son Johnathan and his daughter Sherryl, granddaughter Adella and his two brothers Richard and Robert. He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine Julia Hopkins and his father, Richard Dennis Hopkins.
Throughout his career, Ralph was a respected leader in veterinary services as the owner of Poultry Plus Veterinary Consulting Ltd, in the Fraser Valley, BC, and the Clearwater Veterinary Hospital in Clearwater, BC.
He was deeply committed to community service, particularly as an active member of the Rotary Club of Chilliwack. Among his achievements , he was honored as Rotarian of the year on April 18, 2023 by the Rotary Club of Truro, Nova Scotia. Ralph was also a lifetime member of the Greater Vancouver Motorcycle Club.
A viewing for family and friends will take place at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Henderson's Funeral Home in Chilliwack, BC. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM.
Donations may be made in Ralph's honor to the Rotary Club of Chilliwack.
