I have known Rita for many years, Julie and I have always been best friends since we were 12 & 13 years old. I remember meeting Julies' grandparents when we all lived on Gulliver Rd and they quickly found a special spot in my heart. I lost my grandparents when I was young and they sort of filled the void. Always had a quick smile, friendly hello and kind words and heart. Rita ( Nan ) will be dearly missed.

Mom one of my favorite memories was our trip to the Rodeo. I remember all the laughs, and silliness we got into. We bought cowgirl hats and we watched the cowboys roping their cattle and riding the horses while showing trick riding. Then the was the moment we sat chowing down a hotdog and coke.
Mom even here at the Rodeo you were loved by people we met. You had them in stitches as you shared some of your stories of being a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. You talked about being a farm girl, which I suppose meant you were part of them. You even managed to track down the train ride to get us back to our car because we were tired from the hot, sweaty day at the Rodeo and fair. Mom, you were such a good sport and always wanted to please others with your loving ways. I miss you and always will, but oh the years of memories and your love for God stands out in my heart. I love you, Mom. xx

I have so many wonderful memories with my Nan but one that holds true to my heart is our trip to Maui with the family. We celebrated Nan's birthday there and had an amazing time. Nan was a loving, kind, beautiful lady. I will miss her so much. May she rest in the arms of angels. I love you bunches Nan ❤

Nan was always so loving and Papa too. Always welcoming you with a big hug. When I think of Nan I see her smiling and dancing to all the oldies, she loved her music, Especially her hymns.
She was always active on Facebook and you could always count on her to comment on the regular goings-on of all the family, and to tell them that she was very proud of them and that she loved them. All of us grandchildren and her great grandchildren will miss her dearly but we know we will see her again one day. We love you Nan.

Reta was such a kind, loving and special lady. She always had a smile and a twinkle in her eye. The light of the Lord shone through her by the way she loved her family, friends and especially Jesus. She was a treasure and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. My sincere condolences go out to the family.
