Roselynne Delores Funk

14 May, 1940 – 21 May, 2026
IN THE CARE OF

Henderson's Funeral Homes & Crematorium

It's in deep sadness that the family of Roselynn Delores Funk announces her passing on May 21, 2026.

Roselynn was born on May 14, 1940, in Chilliwack BC, and is predeceased by her husband Alfred parents Leo and Marie Neuman and sister Lualla. She was a loving wife, mother and grandparent survived by her three children Graham (Avril) Valdena (Gerald) and Scott (Cheryl). One grandchild, Douglas (Devon) and three great grandchildren, Kesler, Nate and Olivia.

Delores, which everyone called her, met Alfred at Dairy Del in Altona while Nursing in Winnipeg. They fell in love and married 8 months later in Altona on March 31,1961.

They moved back to Chilliwack in 1962 to raise a family. She retired from the City of Chilliwack in 1998.

In their 62 years of marriage, they enjoyed many wonderful family vacations and travels with friends as part of the snowbirding group. They also have had many exciting adventures around the globe. They loved to have happy hour, which resulted into making lifelong friendships. At the end of happy hour she would know their life stories, because she was a people person and was truly interested in their life stories.

She was known to her friends by her wealth of knowledge and loved listening to all their stories. She was an avid reader and you would often find her with her nose in a book sitting in the sun. She will be fondly remembered as Me-Mom to her grandchild and great grandchildren. Her passion was her cookbooks and trying out new recipes for family dinners.

She is finally happy and in the arms of her soulmate and best friend Alf.

Special thanks to Cascades Hospice for their compassion and excellent care of our mother.

To our mother in heaven, thank you for always loving and guiding us in the right direction. We love you and will miss you dearly. We have angel's watching over us, our parents.
