It is with heavy, but peaceful hearts, that the family of Stewart Key announce his passing after a 3 year struggle with Vascular Dementia.

Stewart Donald Key was born April 1, 1932 in Arelee Saskatchewan and passed away April 19, 2020 in Agassiz, B. C.

Stewart was married to his wife Doreen of 60 years, and together they have 4 children. Dave ( Stephanie) Marie Bodnar( Andy) Linda Mattson( Brian) Sharon Ward( Jeremy) .

They are very proud Grandparents to 9 grandchildren, Lindsay( Kyle), Kimberly, Duncan( Stephanie), Justin, Jennifer, Shannon( Kyle), Andrew( Robyn), Leanne, and Chloe and

5 great grandchildren: Russell, Cooper, Elodie, Lucas and Thea.

He is also. Survived by his sisters Ellen Deary, Muriel Fedorkew( Mike), Brother Albert( Barb), and sisters-in-law, Letty Key, and Mary Patrick, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Stewart was predeceased by his parents Fred and Agnes Key, and his in-laws, Samuel and Elizabeth Wright. youngest brother Bryce Key, nephew Robin Johnson, sister-in-law Evelyn Easton and brother in-law Willmont Patrick.

A private family graveside service will be held, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to Covid-19.

Heartfelt thanks goes out to all of the Dr’s, nurses and care aides of Cheam Village (too many to name) who cared for and loved our dad like he was their own.
