Susan Jeanine Schmidt (Gray) (O’Neill) passed away peacefully on Feb 19, 2016 in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 61. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Richard Schmidt, her children Lynn (Matthew) Duff, David (Brianne) O’Neill, Douglas O’Neill, stepsons Michael (Jennifer) Schmidt and Christopher Schmidt, her grandchildren Declan, Nash, Robert, Elliott, Brock and Abby, brothers Bobby (Janice) Gray, Jim (Shelly) Gray, sisters-in-law Donna (Vic), Judy Griffin, Laura Schmidt and brother-in-law Camon Schmidt and many nieces, family and friends. Susan was predeceased by her mother Nellie Gray, father Robert Gray and sister Pennie Ficke. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack, BC. Susan’ family thank the staff at Chilliwack General Hospital and the paramedics for the care and attention provided to Susan in her final hours. Susan passed peacefully with her loving husband Richard by her side. Memorial Donations may be made in Susan Schmidt’s name to either World Vision, BC Humane Society or Diabetes Research.
