Thanji was very organized and social. She celebrated any event that brought people together.
She lived through the riots of the Sri Lankan Civil War until the family moved to Canada in January of 1991.
Gifted with a wonderful voice Thanji would sing at events, along with playing the violin. She lived out her faith with generosity as a volunteer.
She was an English teacher, and early childhood educator. She travelled home and abroad.
Thanji was a loving grandmother to Zane, Wyatt and Naomi.
After 75 years, 2 months and 9 days we respectfully with dignity and honour, close the chapter of a life well lived.
