Time stands still for know one but to us it seems like it was yesterday that we lost you. Hard to believe it has been three years. You are deeply missed and are always in our thoughts. Until the day we see each other again.

Thinking about you yesterday, unc. Can’t believe it’s been 2 years. My wedding is coming up in a little over a month and I wish you could have been there on our special day. I would have loved to sat down with you one last time to tell you I learned a lot about relationships watching you auntie Mona.  I always looked up to you both and your relationship and I’m sure I will continue to look back on it throughout my marriage. Miss you and love you.

I remember I went to visit up in Kelowna. Must have been 15 years old. It was snowing and that was the first time ever driving . That was the best day. Kept encouraging me to learn to drive in snow. Said once you master that you can drive in any condition. 

My Dad,

I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to conveying who my dad was to me. He was truly one of a kind and simply an amazing man all around. He was always there for me offering support no matter what, whether I was having problems or getting mad at somebody or something. He was always there to calm me down or see how he could help.

He understood me through our similarities such as liking to work through things on our own. I’ll always cherish the way he was always willing to both take and give space before connecting again where he would take the time to truly understand, even if it took longer.

My dad was what you would call a high-spirited man, who was honest and never afraid to speak his mind against anything he didn’t agree with, no matter what the cause. 

But I remember him most for his knowledge, he was always sharing little bits about whatever he was doing or seeing which reminded him of facts that came to mind.

Honestly, I wish I had absorbed more and asked him to teach me. I will always cherish the stories he told us again or even for the first time about his younger days.

He had a special gift to be able to recall stories and songs from the past word for word. It always amazed me that he knew and sang old time rock and roll songs without missing a beat.

He truly didn’t deserve to die so young. He was such a caring and thoughtful man. I will never forget him, who he was, the things he showed me and the moments we shared.

He will truly never be forgotten. I will think of him everyday for the rest of my life and what it would be like to still have him here making memories with us. 

There will always be a piece of me missing with you gone, but you will never die in my heart and in my memories. I don’t have words to express how lucky I was to have you as my father.

Tim,

I am broken hearted and lost a part of myself when you died. I don’t know how I will go on without you, but I know the kids and I will have too.

Why you were taken so soon, I will never understand. Life is not fair, and in the end, it wasn’t fair to you.

I hope you are happy and healthy where you are and that your Mom and my Mom were there to greet you like you said before you had to go. 

I will always be grateful and cherish the 35 years we shared together. They were a blast and the best years of my life that I will never forget.

You are and will always be the love of my life, my soul mate, my partner, my confidant, and my dearest friend.

I will love you forever and I expect you to greet me when my time comes.
 
I miss our talks, looks we shared, smiles, laughs, confessions and drives. But most of all, I miss your mischievous, quirky, witty ways and sky blue eyes. You had the prettiest blues, Tim that I miss looking at every morning.

The saying, opposites attract was so true in our case as we were the direct opposite of each other in everyway which made us a great match.
 
Lastly Tim, I want to thank you for the Nathan, Nicolas and Julia. You were an exceptional father who loved his children more than any man could and put their needs first. I see you in them every day through a look, a gesture, a laugh, or a remark. It is comforting to know that you live on in them.
 
We all miss you so much. You will forever be cherished, in our memories, in our thoughts and hearts.

Rest in peace my love and know that you were loved unconditionally and will always be remembered.

I want to ask Jesus for his pure strength and healing power for my daughter Mona and her family ( Nathan, Nick, Julia - my grandchildren) in their time of loss.  It was far too soon for Tim.  
Tim was a true family man, his love for his family ran deep and they were his passion.  Even though he is no longer with them, his love remains in their hearts.  This is the anchor they can always draw on.  All things in life will change but love lasts forever.  This love from Tim is a true legacy for them.  So now I ask my dear family, even in your sorrow to live in his love and share the memories with each other.  
The Bible tells us that three things remain; Faith, Hope and Love.
But Love is the greatest and lasts forever.  When it came to being rich, Tim’s love for his family made him a rich man.  So now trust in the lord with all your hearts and mind.  The pure piece of God will guard your hearts in Christ, Jesus, our lord.  His spirit helps us in our sorrow and weakness.

Remembrances of Tim – Love From Marina

As I reflect on my longstanding relationship with Tim, I remember my first impression of him being warm, welcoming and charming.  He couldn’t hide his infatuation with Mona during their early courtship.  He was very smitten and it came as no surprise to us that he was going to be a permanent fixture in our family.  
We gladly opened our hearts and doors to Tim and he reciprocated with his love for us, his new extended family.  We heard over the many years Mona and Tim shared that we were his “family” and he never held back saying “ I love you Sis “.  As our family all knew, word of my pending visits always resulted in a flurry of activity - cleaning up, lawn cutting and doing their best to not have to listen to me go on a rant.  This was true right to Tim’s last days at home when he told me that he had the Nick cutting the lawn as Auntie Marina was coming.  Oh, how this made me laugh and almost brought tears to my eyes.  
I feel blessed to have had the five days in Chilliwack with Tim and family when he returned home from the hospital, or should I say escaped.  He knew his own mind and he made his last wish to be home with his family come true.
It goes without saying that I will miss my brother-in-law and I know his presence, and influence and incredible love will be with Mona, Nathan, Nick and Julia always.  
I will hold you forever in my heart and thoughts Tim and keep the memories alive – rest in peace!

Remembrances of Tim -- Love Julie  

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my dear brother-in-law of 34 years, Tim. He was a loving husband and friend to my sister Mona. An endearing father to his 3 kids Nathan, Nicolas and Julia. Nothing was more important to Tim than his family. He was content hanging out with his family and pets while puttering around his home with whatever project he was on. I’ll miss his sense of humour and wit which was always followed by his mischievous giggle and a wink. Tim had his favourite lines: “ I kid you not”, “without a word of a lie” before telling a story, which always put a grin on my face. Tim, thank you for the love you had for my sister and my nephews and niece. 
We are all going to miss you so much brother. We’ll see you again in Heaven.

To my dear uncle, 
The other day while I was driving to work I spotted a man wearing a jean jacket. All I remember thinking is “there’s only one person who can rock that jacket.” Since we lost you I feel like I see you or characteristics of you more and more, and it takes me back to when I was a young child and got to watch you and learn from you. Every time I’m with my nephew or when I’m holding him, I just want him to grow up knowing he’s safe with me, I want him to feel the way I felt when I was with you all those years ago. After the celebration of your life the family was all outside and I remember hugging Julia and it was like I was hugging you again, and to get that once more means more than I can ever pay tribute too. The  day before I was with Nic shopping, and I can’t quite put it into words, but he has this presence that you had, he doesn’t need to say anything or do anything, it’s just how you both carry yourselves, and I’m very glad I will get to experience that again in my cousin. Every time I look at my cousin Nathan I see your toughness, ever since we we’re kids growing up together I saw this “tough as nails” kid who was as brave as could be, and I’m proud of him for keeping that and caring it on. And of course when I see my auntie Mona, I have and always will remember the beautiful couple that fit together better than any puzzle. I’m proud to be you and my auntie Mona’s nephew and I’m proud to have cousins who I know will carry on your great personality and unforgettable persona. Love you always,

We were very fortunate to have known Tim. When we first moved to the Okanagan Tim and Mona welcomed us into their home. We would get together for barbecues and visit. Tim was a very good storyteller. We would enjoy hearing his perspective on things, as he would put a humorous twist on things, making the tale more enjoyable. Although we lost touch over the years, we are very grateful to have known Tim and will cherish the fond memories we have of him.
May you rest in peace Tim.

So many memories shared with Tim, especially in the 90's and 2000's. He was a great brother-in law whose laugh I will always cherish. Not to mention his quick witted "without a doubt, I tell you no lie" stories. My heart goes out to Mona, Julia, Nathan and Nicolas and all of Tim's family and friends. God bless you all.

Our sincerest condolences to Mona and the kids and all the Ingram family. There are no words that can be spoken to ease the pain and loss you feel. All we can do is remind you of the good times you shared and let you know that you are not alone.
