Annie Marie Williams

Annie Cole Williams, age 71, of Kannapolis, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cabarrus. Born January 19, 1950 in Ashe County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Cole and Marie Patrick Cole. In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Barlow and Nicky Williams and her granddaughter, Sarah Suratt. She served as Pastor of Word of Life Ministry.

Annie live a true servants life. It showed in her career as a certified nursing assistant in the way she cared for her patients; in her life in the way she helped others wherever help was needed. She truly loved caring and helping others - it was her way of life and a true legacy she leaves behind. In addition to helping others, she had a tremendous love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She raised two of her great-grandchildren, Madison and Elizabeth Hager and cared for them as if they were her own children.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jonathan Barlow and David Baugess and her daughter, Angela Mullis. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Melina Nance (Brandon), Sherl Peak (Michael), Joshua Barlow, James Barlow, Amber Huggins, Ashley Hager, Christen Bauguess, and Tiffany Suratt, along with 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Annie will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Casa de Luz - The Lighthouse Billingual Church, 302 E. Corriher Street, Landis, NC. Funeral Service will immediately follow. Committal Service at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove will take place immediately after her Funeral Service. The family has requested you kindly remember Annie with memorials in her honor to Rowan Helping Ministries, 226 N. Long Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.
