Mom, it's now 2016. I remember when we would hold money in our hands on New Years Eve hoping for more money and New Years Day we would eat greens ,black eyed peas and pork. We would always say hope this year is better than last year, then we would laugh. Love you Mom sending you hugs and kisses for the New Year.

On December 28th, 2014 will always be the worst day of my life it's the day that God called my beautiful mother home.Mom you and I were not just mother and daughter but we're best friends too. We had a bond that most mother and daughters never have.Mom when you passed away 1 year ago today my whole world  stopped nothing has been the same without you in my life.I try to be strong but the pain and emptiness that feel is tremendous Mom I will alway keep my memories and love for you in my heart. I deeply and truly miss you ,you were the best mother in the world. Mom I love you now and forever .Please watch over me and keep me safe . I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU

It is 25 minutes to the day I got the call that you had made your way to heaven with papaw.  I did my best to give momma a good Christmas. I could have done more.  I thought I would never hate Christmas. I didn't even watch my favorite Christmas movie one time...with the mouse  and the clock.    Love you gran.   Send me pennies...  Merry Christmas.

Mom , having Christmas without you for the first time in my life was so hard to do .I tried my hardest to be strong for everyone else but I was hurting so bad inside . After we opened presents we went to your grave ,we held hand and I told you how much you are missed my heart was hurting so much .Mom meant the world to me I will always love you .you will always be in my heart .Mom I hope you know how much you are missed. My first thanksgiving without you.   I made deviled eggs like always... But they are missing something.   The only thing that made them good was the smile on your face when I brought them in the back door with that motion activated  Santa Claus hangin on the door worn out from years of kids and grandkids and great grandkids. I want that back.  And you back. Granny... I'd trade anything to kiss your face and make you smile.   

I still find your pennies.  I know you know that comforts me.

Well, today marks 2 months since you've been gone, but it feels like an eternity since we've last seen you. It's just not the same. I miss the "bless your hearts" and the "you sure you're not hungry honey?" I miss that, and you so much. The fact that you're happy and free now is what keeps me going.
