Fred Allen Parks age 69 of Kannapolis passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his residence. Fred was born on October 16, 1952 in Greyson County, Virginia and was the son of the late Albert Fred Parks and Ona Odella Parks. He moved to North Carolina in Kannapolis where he worked for Phillip Morris, Epes and later from Powerhouse Recycling Co as a truck driver. In his spare time when he wasn't driving his truck for Powerhouse, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He found much pleasure from riding.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bill Parks and sister Linda Marie Parks.
Family members left to cherish his memory are his son Fred Allen Parks II and his daughter Heather Parks Moore (Josh) as well as his sisters Rita Parks and Mary Parks. He also had four grandchildren; Hayden Moore, Ryker Moore, Emory Smith and Cannon Smith.
A public gathering of his friends will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5:00 pm till 6:00 pm.
