He was the son of the late Franklin Scarborough and Nancy Louise Fesperman Scarborough. Gary was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of China Grove. He loved Jesus and going to church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Frank Scarborough (Linda) and Sharon Eagle (Ted). He also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews, fifteen great-nieces and nephews, and three great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that you kindly remember Gary with memorials in his honor to Men on Missions First Baptist Church of China Grove, 302 Patterson Street, China Grove, NC 28023.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist church of China Grove at a later date.
