Mr. Jack Martin Callahan

Born in Wilkes County, NC on June 22, 1939, he was the son of the late George Washington Callahan and Nell Reid Callahan.

In addition to his parents, Jack was also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Mauney; daughter, Ellen Lynn Callahan in 1993 and a nephew, Chris Aycoth.

Jack served in the Air National Guard of North Carolina from 1957-1963.

He was owner/operator on A & M Cycle Shop; loved anything motorcycle, hotrods and attended Piedmont Baptist Church.

He was married to Nancy Ellen Teal Callahan, and was father to Mike Callahan, both of China Grove, NC and Cindy (Robert) Blanton of Charleston, SC.

He is further survived by his sister, Carol (Larry) Jarvis of Holden Beach, NC; grandchildren, Michael Jack, Brittney (D.J.) and Matthew (Cassidy); and six great-grandchildren, Jerrick, Jensen, Jayven, Jace, Wrigley and Jett.

His nephews, Gary (Shelly) Mauney, Dale (Julie) Mauney, Marty (Beth) Aycoth and AJ Miller; and his niece, Andrea Blalock are also left to cherish his memory.

The family will receive friends at Piedmont Baptist Church - Monday, April 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Edwards officiating. Burial will be private for the family.
