It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Husband & Father, James “Edward” Smith, who went home to be with our Lord on May 1, 2025 at the age of 89, surrounded by his loving family. He was a man of immense humor, wisdom and faith, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His unwavering spirit and passion for serving and being a fisher of men for God and his love of game fishing will forever be remembered. He is survived by wife Joan, children: Thomas and wife Kem, Jane and husband Charlie Whicker, Jo Ellen and husband David Rogers, Jamison and wife Samantha, 2 Granddaughters, 5 Grandsons and 6 great grandchildren and living Brothers and sisters who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives for the Lord to the fullest.
A graveside service for family will be at West Lawn Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 6th at 1:30pm.
