

He was born on August 29, 1946, in Rowan County.
Mr. Graham graduated from West Rowan High School in Mount Ulla in 1964. In 1967, he earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Electronics Technology from Rowan Technical Institute prior to serving as an Avionics Technician in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Graham worked in electronics with Watson Brothers TV Service, held various positions at Duke Energy for twenty-four years, and was employed by Square D. After retiring from the electronics industry, he dedicated himself as a full-time farmer at Foggy Bottom Farm in Mount Ulla.
In 1969, Mr. Graham married Barbara Jean Watson in Salisbury, North Carolina. Together they built a life on their family farm. Family was paramount to him, and he deeply valued his children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
A member of Back Creek Presbyterian Church and a former member of Thyatira Presbyterian Church, Mr. Graham was also among the early and active members of the Millbridge Ruritan Club. In his early life, he was a member of the Rowan Clown Club and the West Rowan Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed amateur radio operations under the station call sign WB4PDY and was well regarded for his skills in BBQ and breakfast cooking as well as his creative Christmas tree lighting displays on his radio tower.
Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Barbara Watson Graham; daughters, Cristina Wilhelm (preceded in death by Anthony Wilhelm) and Jenny Love (John Love); grandchildren, Madeline Wilhelm Hale (Zach Hale), Jack Wilhelm and Noah Love; siblings Curtis Clark Graham, Jr., Dwight Graham and Melodye Grubb; and his beloved dog, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Clark Graham, Sr., and Nannie Mae Howell Graham.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Back Creek Presbyterian Church.
The Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Military honors will be conducted following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be directed to The Jack Graham Scholarship Fund c/o of Back Creek Presbyterian Church 2145 Back Creek Church Road
