Lori Ann Brooks

Mrs. Lori Ann Brooks, 47, passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2011 at CMC in Charlotte. Born on May 9, 1964 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of Willard and Faye Philips Ward. Educated in Cabarrus County Schools, she attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Mrs. Brooks enjoyed camping and going to the beach.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Tommy Brooks, daughters, Michelle Lynn Brooks Allen of Smithfield and Lauren Elizabeth Brooks of Mooresville. Brothers, Tony Ward of Kannapolis and Jeff Ward and wife Leta of China Grove. A sister Teresa Roberts and husband Mark of China Grove also survive her. She is also survived by grandchidren, Brayden Brooks and Haley Allen.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00 til 3:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral following at 3:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Carlin Ours, minister. Burial will follow at Organ Lutheran Church Cemetery.
