Born September 22, 1982 in Chesterfield, SC, he was the son of Richard Sims and Derita Stamper Sims.
Richard attended high school and had been disabled for several years.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Greg Devin Sims; two nephews, Cole Salber and Caleb Salber and one niece, Laila Teuscher also survive him.
There will be no formal services at this time.
