Ruby Jane Winecoff

Mrs. Winecoff was born on August 31, 1932 in Rowan County and was the daughter of the late Roscoe Bryant Goodman and Mamie Estelle Pless Goodman. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools, and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in China Grove. She enjoyed baking and cooking and having her family at home with her for family meals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Howard "Bud" Goodman and Larry Goodman as well as sisters, Mildred Dennis, Dot Overcash and Vee Condrey and a grandchild Priscilla Huffman.

Loving family members include her son Kenneth Lynn Winecoff, daughters Annette Suther (Tommy) and Joyce Shelton. Additionally she is survived by a sister in law Virginia Goodman and her grandchildren; John Suther (Caitlin), Ashley McKnight (Josh), Angela Edwards and Taylor Winecoff. Great Grandchildren are Adaline Suther, Savannah Sides, Caden Edwards, Leslie Huffman, Kimberly Huffman, Monica Taylor, Kenyan O'Neal, Emery McKnight and Wyatt McKnight.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home Haven Room in China Grove from 1:00 till 1:30 pm for the family only and then with visitors from 1:30 till 2:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm at the Northcrest Chapel of Linn Honeycutt with Pastor Trent Drye, officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
