

Salisbury-Suzanne Carpenter, 65, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, October 7, 2012, at her residence. Born November 2, 1946 in Concord, she was the daughter of the late Bernie Garrett and Frances Reed Carpenter. A graduate of South Rowan High, Suzanne had earlier worked for Cannon Mills and was later employed with PPG.
A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Family members left to cherish her memory include her son, Todd Young and wife, Janice, of China Grove, her daughter Amy Christine Lewis, of Salisbury, her brothers, Ted Carpenter and wife, Candice, of Atlanta, and Scott Carpenter and wife, Kathy, of China Grove, her grandchildren, Garrett Young, of China Grove, Johnathan Cook, of Wenatchee, WA, Austin Gage Lewis and Logan Bryce Lewis, both of Salisbury.
A memorial service to remember and celebrate Suzanne's life will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2012, in the chapel of Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, conducted by Rev. Joyce Miles, pastor of South China Grove Church of God. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
