David is preceded in death by his father, Joe, and survived by his mother, Cecelia Machado, brothers Joe (wife Mary), Richard, Danny, and Larry, and nephews Jay (wife Joyce), John (wife Christine), and Jesse (partner Mackenzie).
David retired from Verizon in 2009 and was happiest when involved with cars including watching auto racing, attending car shows and swap meets, working on his and friends' classic muscle cars, and collecting car memorabilia.
A funeral service for David will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 12686 Central Ave., Chino, CA 91710. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 444 E. Lexington Ave., Pomona, CA 91766.
David was a generous and giving man, always thinking of others.
