
Henry VanderLaan, 87, of Lake Elsinore, passed away February 11, 2013 at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona. He was born October 2, 1925 in the Netherlands and lived in Lake Elsinore for 13 years. Henry lived in Chino for 43 years prior to his move to Lake Elsinore. Hard work suited Henry well; he was a self-employed dairyman for 40 years. Henry was a member of Calvary Chapel in Lake Elsinore. He is survived by his children Sylvia Southfield (Dan), Tena Lopes (Tony), Martin Vander Laan, Teresa Dominick (Vince), Winna Vander Laan; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Henry is also survived by siblings Martin Vander Laan, William Vander Laan (Katie) and Alice Vanden Toorn. He is preceeded in death by his Loving Wife of 51 years Ann VanderLaan . Visitation hours will be 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013 at Pierce Bros Griffith Mortuary in Chino. A Graveside Service will take place Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn in Riverside. A memorial service will follow at Calvary Chapel Lake Elsinore 107 N.
