Jerry Dee Robinson

Jerry Dee Robinson, 73 years of age, passed away on August 4, 2014 in Riverside. He was born on May 29, 1941 in San Diego. Jerry Dee was an Upland resident for the past 4 years and a previous Whittier resident for 67 years. He worked as a Painter for the Los Angeles County Public Works for 20 years before his retirement on May 31, 2007. Jerry Dee attended Whittier High School and graduated in 1961. He then pursued his career and attended Technical School for 2 years. Growing up he attended the Church of Christ and was a devoted member. When he and his family moved to Upland he became a member of the Upland Assembly of God Church. Jerry Dee will be greatly missed by his loving wife Irene Robinson, son John Robinson, daughters Lyrea Sowma and Jerri Robinson-Garcia. Also left to cherish his memory are his son-in-laws: Jimmy Sowma, Leonard Garcia and daughter-in-law Jay Ann Robinson and his adoring 4 grandchildren Ben, Josh, Dylan and Lily. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at La Habra Church of Christ in La Habra.
