Manuel R. Benavidez, 73, of Chino, passed away on October 29, 2013 in Pomona. He was born October 8, 1940 in Texas and lived in Chino for 6 years. Robert, as he was known, earned a Bachelors Degree in Business and was the owner of La Casita Restaurant for 20 years. He was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills and a member of the Sportsman Band. Robert is survived by his wife Lucy Benavidez (grandma Lucy); son Bobby and his wife Danny Benavidez and daughter Joanna and her husband Ray Chamoun. He is also survived by 8 beautiful grandchildren; Emily Chamoun, Alexis Benavidez, Sarah Chamoun, Amber Benavidez, Catherine and Elizabeth Chamoun, Bobby and Joshua Benavidez.
