Manuel Narciso Silva, 74, of Chino, passed away June 28, 2011 at Pomona Valley Medical Center in Pomona. He was born April 10, 1937 in Biscoitos, Terceira Azores, Portugal and was a resident of Chino for 39 years. Manuel worked as a milker for 65 years. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chino and the D.E.S. Portuguese Club. Manuel is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elsie; six children Elsie (John) Rocha, Theresa (Jim) Briones, Manuel (Norma) Silva, Irene (John) Pedro, Johnny (Linda) Silva and Marianne Silva. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be 10 o'clock a.m, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Chino with rosary beginning at 10:30 a.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. directly following rosary at the church.
