Ofelia Peinado, 62, of Pomona, passed away suddenly on January 2, 2014 in Pomona. She was born to Gilberto Orozco and Maria del Rufugio Arrieta on December 30, 1951 in Zacatecas, Mexico. Ofelia resided in Pomona for 36 years, making a career of raising her family. As her children got older and started having children of their own, Ofelia devoted time to caring for her grandchildren. Having a love for the outdoor, Ofelia was happiest spending her time gardening. She enjoyed family outings and traveling with Disneyland, San Francisco and Vegas being some of her favorite places. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Rafael Peinado and their children Ofelia, Noemi, Rafael, Victor, Natalia and Abraham Peinado. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren. Ofelia will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
