Ralph Don Hernandez

Ralph Don Hernandez, 76 years old, of Chino Hills, passed away March 3, 2017 at home. He was born November 18, 1940 in Monterey Park, California. As a young man, Ralph proudly served his country in the Army as an OR Tech. He loved teaching and taught Woodshop at Mountain View High School in El Monte, California. Ralph enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid Angels fan. Most of all, Ralph loved his family and was a devoted husband to his wife Joan of 48 years. Along with being a devoted husband, Ralph will be remembered for the loving father and grandfather he was. He was always there when his family needed him. Ralph cherished his grandchildren and was an involved Grandfather who attended practices, games and tournaments with his grandchildren. He will always be in our hearts.

Ralph is survived by his wife Joan Hernandez, daughter Christine Hernandez, son Paul Hernandez and daughter-in-law Vanessa. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jayden, Tyler and Bryanna Hernandez. In memory of Ralph Hernandez, donations can be made to Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Visitation hours will be Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Chino 13002 South Central Ave,. Chino 91710. A mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Monday, March 13, 2017 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Chino Hills. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 2161 South Fullerton Road, Rowland Heights, CA 91748 626-964-1291
