Trinidad Leal Silva

Trinidad Leal Silva "Dona Trini", 89 of Chino passed away September 23, 2012 in Pomona. Trini was born February 14, 1923 in Curimeo Michoacan Mexico, she was born to Timoteo and Juliana Leal. She was a resident of Chino for 53 years, She worked as a Wreath Assembler for the Boys Republic in Chinohills for 25 years and retired in 1987. Trini was a Parishoner of Our Lady of Guadalupe, she tirelessly devoted self time to the sick in hospitals and homes. She assisted on funerals of the departed in her community, and also offered emotional support to those in mourning. Trini offered prayer to the incarcerated. She organized Mexican Folklorico entertainment, also offered 40 plus years of monitary contributuions to the local community. In 2008 she was recongnized by the Arch Bishop Barnes by receiving several metals for her participation in several years of community service. Trini leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children; Margaret Bonilla of Moreno Valley, Lupe Ortiz of Pomona, Jesus Silva of Santa Rosa, Gloria Tejas of Victorville, Juana Conlee of Moreno Valley, Lily Aldama of Fontana, Sabino Silva, Jr. of Corona, Javier Silva of Chino, David Silva of Fontana, Ricardo Silva of Corona , 24 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grand Children. Visitation will be held Monday, October 1,2012, 5-8pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Rosary at 7pm , Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, October 2,2012 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
