She loved nature, crafting, pottery, technology, and history, and she was always the life of the party with her good humor and gentle, teasing spirit. Her faith guided every part of her life and was evident in her kindness, strength, and constant willingness to help others in need.
She made people laugh, brought people together, and filled every family event with light and laughter.
Elida is survived by her partner, Juan Nuno; her parents, Rafael Alvarez and Natalia Hidalgo; her sisters and brothers, Belen Taitano, Erika Lara, Gonzalo Alvarez, Juliana Mendoza, and Maria Muñoz; her children, Elizabeth Maya, Marco Martinez, and Jose Rodriguez; and her grandchildren, Emma Martinez and Emiliano Nunez.
We will miss her dearly and will always remember her generous spirit, her loving heart, and the joy she brought into our lives.
