Ina Mae Brown was born March 22, 1922, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Joy and Pike Bolding. Ina was one of 13 children. The family lived in the Wynnewood area until moving to California in the 1930's.
Ina married Dowl C Moore and moved to Dixieland. Together they raised 3 children, Ronald, Carol, and Diana. They later moved to La Branza District in Chowchilla, after Dowl's passing in 1962.
Ina drove bus for the Chowchilla Elementary District and worked at Sierra Cleaners.
She married William A. Brown in 1965 and moved to Dairyland area where they farmed and had a dairy. They were acting members of the Dairyland Brenda Grange. Later they would operate B & I Upholstery.
Ina finished her studies and graduated from Chowchilla Union High School Class of 1989 under a special program.
She was preceded in death by her son Dr. Ronald Moore.
Ina is survived by her Sister Dorothy Simpson, and her Daughters Carol Ciapponi (Fred), Diana Prichard (Tom), Daughter In Law Shirley Moore, her Grandchildren, Ronald Moore, Michael Moore, Tammy Hagemeier, Traci Frazier, Teri Caldwell, Arnold Lee, Jody Lee, Bruce Lee, and 15 Great Grandchildren.
She was also a member of the Cornerstone Community Church.
A Graveside Service for Ina Mae Brown will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chowchilla District Cemetery, 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California.
