Manuel Eli Thomas

Manuel was born in Chowchilla, California to his parents Lester and Kathryn Thomas. He was raised in Chowchilla and graduated with the Class of 1955 making Manuel a true Chowchillian. Manuel and Marnell raised three children, Bradly, Terry, and Dian.

He went to work for Baltimore Air Coil in Madera and a Fabricator/Welder until he retired. But he couldn't just sit around so Manuel took on the task of taking care of a 5 plex apartment. He loved Gardening and his fruit trees and spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

Manuel is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Marnell Thomas (Rose); his son Bradly James Thomas (Kristi); and his son Terry Ray Thomas (Lisa); and many nieces and nephews.

Manuel was preceded in death by his daughter Dian Mashell Thomas, his parents Lester Theophelus Thomas and Kathryn Billie Thomas (Claycomb).

Manuel also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Manuel will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM held at the First Assembly of God Church, 317 Orange Avenue, Chowchilla, CA 93610. Following the funeral service will be a Private Service for Family Only at the Chowchilla Cemetery, 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, CA 93610.
