Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Johnny, her parents William and Virginia Dockery and two grandchildren Meagan and Bryan Hunter and her faithful dog companion Simba that meant everything to her.
She leaves behind her son Aaron Hunter and her grandson Cory Hunter.
Shirley worked at the Senior Citizen Hall for the over seven years until she retired and was able to join the seniors at the hall playing Bingo with them.
When her son was growing up they had a motorcycle Club where Shirley would work the gates and the concession stand to help support the club racing.
Shirley will be laid to rest at the Chowchilla District Cemetery.
