He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Gail, and two daughters, Lynn Susanne and Cheryl Lee Boyett. He leaves behind daughters Debbie Mart, Becky Ross and Amanda Llewellyn, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Bill was born in Keota, Oklahoma, one of 10 children born to Theodore and Edna Boyett. The family moved to the Dairyland area in the 1940’s. The family were hard-working farmers that followed the crops as far north as Washington state. After a stint with the U.S. Army, he became a life-long truck driver.
In 1964, he met Gail on a blind date and they were married shortly thereafter. He was an avid gardener and fisherman, but his greatest joy in life was his many grand- and great-grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife on April 11 at the Chowchilla Cemetery.
