James Morgan

James Alan Morgan, 62, of Amanda, passed away January 19, 2022. James was born November 14, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to Larry and Rita (Love) Morgan. James was a retired truck driver. He loved his family greatly. He also greatly enjoyed spending time fishing, taking fishing trips and watching fishing shows on television. Along with all things family and all things fishing, James also enjoyed movies, having wonderful (sometimes long) conversations, sharing his advice with his family and giving travel directions (which may have lengthened the actual travel time of some trips) and spending time with his canine rescues.

He is preceded in death by his father Larry Morgan, stepfather Ronald Love, and grandchildren Harrison and Hudson Pennington.

Jim is survived by and will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Tamie (Conley) Morgan; children Heather Warnock, Christopher Morgan, Nathan Morgan, and Ashley Pennington; grandchildren Trennton Morgan, Makenzie Morgan, Christopher Morgan Jr., Tyler Morgan, Olivia Warnock, Hunter Pennington, Lucas Warnock, Rylee Morgan, and Brycen Morgan; one great grandchild Barrett Morgan; as well as canine companion Rosie along with many other treasured pets.

Jim’s family will receive visitors from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 151 East Main Street, Circleville.
