

Jerry was a devoted husband to his late wife, Sue. He was also a loving father, grandpa, uncle and friend to many. He graduated from Stoutsville High School, Class of 1956 and was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame. He worked at Blue Ribbon Dairy and was considered the last milkman in Ashville. He retired from DuPont. He worked for over 50 years as a basketball and baseball official along with running the chains for Logan Elm football.
Jerry was an avid supporter of Logan Elm athletics. He was a lifelong Ohio sports fan, especially his Reds, Bengals and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. Jerry loved his morning coffee with his Coffee Crew.
Jerry is survived by his children, Jeff (Teena) Collins, Timmy (Carol) Collins, Terry (Linda) Collins, and Jennifer (Barry) Gregg; grandchildren, Zac, Chase, Cassidy, Eli, and Bryce; and two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Avery; his sisters, Helen Weaver, Betty Teets, and Mary Jane Skinner.
