

Patty was born on November 1, 1945 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Donald and Betty (Oiler) Meeker. She graduated from South Eastern High School, Class of 1964. After high school, she got her cosmetology license and worked for many years doing hair. Patty then worked and retired from Big Lots.
Patty was a loving mother and aunt. She was a huge football fan, and her and her son would constantly cheer on the Jacksonville Jaguars and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. She loved to go watch Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr, and she got many autographs. She loved sporting events, especially rodeos. Patty loved taking many trips on the back of a Harley. She was very proud of her motorcycle vest and made many friends around the country. Daytona Bike Week was one of her favorite events every year. Patty was always ready for a new adventure and vacation. She loved traveling all over the US and other countries, including Hawaii and Canada. Patty loved cats and was known as the neighborhood cat lady. She could never turn away stray. She may say she didn’t have a favorite, but Roady and Tigs will always hold a special place in her heart.
In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by her son, Richard “Richie” Meeker; her siblings, Bobby Meeker and Donna Myers; and her great-niece, Bambi.
Patty is survived by her nieces, Sherri, Lynn and Theresa; her great-nieces, Lacey, Bridget, and Chasity; her great-nephews, Johnathen and Dakota; and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with the Funeral Service at 2:00pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville, Ohio. Cremation will follow services.
