Wilma Jean Chew

Wilma Jean Chew passed on January 20, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born on February 12, 1931 in Derby, Ohio to the late Walter and Edith (Hamilton) Lewis.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Williamsport.
Jean is survived by sisters, Marilyn Holloway of Clarksburg and Beverly Lewis of Williamsport, and a brother Elvin (Phyllis) Lewis of Columbus. She is also survived by 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 3 great-nieces, 1 great-nephew, 1 great-great-niece, 1 great-great-nephew, and many friends. Aside from her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother Eddie Lewis.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial to take place at Springlawn Cemetery in Williamsport. There will be no calling hours.
The family would especially like to thank Ohio Health and the Promedica nurses and caregivers. They were absolute angels.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to the United Methodist Church in Williamsport or Promedica Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home.
