

Carrie Ann was born February 10, 1924 at Clay City, IL to Earnie R. and Ellen (Garrison) Hosselton. She married Rex Gill April 21, 1945 at New Shawneetown, IL and he preceded her in death June 10, 2003.
Carrie Ann was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. She attended Zif Baptist Church; was secretary of American Legion Auxiliary for years at Clay City and was a member of VFW Auxiliary at Olney for years.
Carrie Ann is survived by one son Rexford (Phyllis) Gill and one grandson Christopher Gill and friend Kaci Thompson all of Clay City, IL; three brothers Carroll (Ramona) Hosselton of Louisville, IL; Clydene (Sandra) Hosselton and Curtis (Donna) Hosselton both of Clay City, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceding her in death were her husband Rex, sister-in-law Wanda Hosselton, brother and sister-in-law Cletis and Wilma Hosselton, brother Marion, and her parents.
Funeral services for Carrie Ann Gill will be 2PM Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Zif Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until time of service on Tuesday
Memorials in memory of Carrie Ann can be given to Zif Church or Zif Cemetery and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
