Connie Jeanette Clements Brashear

Connie was born January 25, 1948 at Fairfield, IL to Gerald Lloyd and Vera Marie (Schell) Clements. She married Garry Brashear June 3, 1967 at Rock Branch Church at Cisne. He preceded her in death November 10, 2010.

Connie was a homemaker and a former owner of C & G Grocery in Johnsonville. She was a member of the Rock Branch General Baptist Church and a member of the Johnsonville Village Board and former mayor.

Connie is survived by her father Lloyd and step-mother Beverly Clements of Johnsonville, IL; one daughter Kim VanScyoc (& her husband Jamie) of Dieterich, IL; two sons Robbe Brashear (& his wife Tammy) of Johnsonville, IL and Tim Brashear (& his wife Diane) of Geff, IL; one brother Gerry Clements (& his wife Connie) of Johnsonville, IL; seven grandchildren Keshia, Karissa, Makayla, Molly & Parker Brashear; Hanna Kessel and Hayden VanScyoc and one great granddaughter Nevaeh Brashear.

Preceding her in death were her mother Vera, husband Garry, father and mother-in-law Hubert & Edith Brashear.

Funeral services for Connie Brashear will be 1PM Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in Johnsonville Cemetery. Friends may call 10AM – 1PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials in memory of Connie Brashear may be given to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
