Charles Edward Mooneyham, age 80, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. Charles was born in Johnston County on August 27, 1944 to the late Herbert D. and Leola Reardon Mooneyham. Charles loved fishing, going camping, golfing and trips to White Lake but most of all singing for the Lord and a Jones' hotdog.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Frances Mooneyham; his children, Ronald Mooneyham, Anthony Mooneyham and wife, Melissa, Lisa Mooneyham and wife, Donna, Christopher Mooneyham and wife, Vivian, Lynda Campbell and husband, Bubba; a brother, Don Mooneyham and his wife, Mary John; grandchildren, Eric Mooneyham and wife, Christina, Harlie Mooneyham and husband, Eric, Shelbie Mooneyham and Andrew Campbell; 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Charles is also preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Gardner; a brother-in-law, Joel Gardner and a daughter-in-law, Rhonda K. Mooneyham.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 2:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00pm
