Jackie, Gracie, and family - I was so sad to hear of EllaRyan’s passing. I still think of her as being a little girl attending Powhatan Elementary. I have been praying for you all ever since I heard - for Gods ‘s comfort and a peace that passes all understanding. Gracie, you have ways held a special place in my heart! Know you are loved and are in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathies go out to all of EllaRyan's family and friends who have been devastated by her sudden and tragic passing. While I didn't know her intimately, I remember when she was born, watched her grow up via social media, and knew her face well from church and community. I think of her as a smile and light, and cannot imagine the hole her absence leaves in the lives of those who loved her. I have not been able to get her off my mind, and so I have prayed...God did not will such a thing to happen, and He weeps with us. I met EllaRyan the first day of class our freshmen year. She came up to me lost looking for the a specific building that I was also lost and looking for. It turned out we were in the same class and became friends. Well studied together, had sushi dates, went to the beach, and yoga classes. We eventually became roommates our sophomore year and were able to create countless memories from Bachelor nights to talking for hours about anything and everything. She even taught me how to surf and pushed me along my first wave. Her light shined so bright in everything she did. She supported me when I needed , was the best listener and was a friend to everyone she met. I wish we could have spent more time together but I will carry the joy she brought into my life forever. Her family is in my prayers🤍

I had the pleasure of meeting Ellaryan on the first day of school our senior year in one of our classes together as we sat next to eachother. Just by talking to her once you knew how much of a sweet girl she was. Her smile always lit up the room, and she was such an inspiration to many as she had so many ambitions and goals. I had the honor of first meeting EllaRyan in 2023 and her effect was immediate. I’ll always remember her beautiful smile, you could just tell the type of person she was. I got to know EllaRyan very well her senior year at CHS. I knew of her as Bryce and Gracie’s little sister several years before that. She was in my office on a weekly basis working so hard on her college applications her senior year. We quickly became close and remained close after she graduated. I still remember her telling me that she was accepted into UNCW. She was a joy to know. To EllaRyan’s family I’m so incredibly sorry. You are in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️

Since our freshman year, EllaRyan had always shared a big passion of helping others with me. She always told me how much she wanted to help people and provide those who need help with service dogs. Seeing her accomplish such goals was so inspiring and something I admired about her. 
I miss her dearly, she was such a blessing in my life♥️

One of my favorite memories is our Bachelor and Dancing with The Stars nights. We would all pile into our living room and EllaRyan would pull her mattress out of her room so that everyone had a comfortable place to watch. Our group seemed to always have more and more people every week but we just loved those nights together. We looked forward to them every week and I will forever cherish those memories of us all piled in one place together.

Some of my earliest memories of EllaRyan are from 7th grade when we were in the same English class taught by Ms. Kardos. I had just moved houses that year and she was one of the first people I met in the Clayton area. The last memory I have of her is from our senior high school trip, chatting and sitting together on the bus back to the hotel. I will always remember EllaRyan for her humor and good nature. My condolences and heart go out to her family and friends.

EllaRyan was one of the first friends I made freshman year at UNCW. EllaRyan was the kind of person who lit up any room she walked into with her contagious laughter and smile. She was truly such a beautiful person both inside and out. I will forever cherish our memories together. Rest easy sweet girl💗💗💗

I took my first yoga class at the UNCW rec center with EllaRyan. I have now been practicing yoga multiple times a week for over a year. I loved her class so much, I came every week for two semesters. My love for yoga would not exist without EllaRyan.

I had the privilege of meeting EllaRyan this past year, and was even more blessed to grow close to her. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. One of the things I admired most about her was the effort she poured into her friendships. She made people feel valued. During some of my lowest times, she never failed to make me feel included and cared for. 

The time I spent with her will never feel like enough. Some of my favorite memories with her are the simplest but hold such a special place in my heart. From Bachelor nights and Dancing with the Stars every Tuesday to laughing hysterically over silly card games with our friend group, those were the best times. EllaRyan brightened my life in the short time I knew her, and I will forever remember her sweet, contagious laugh that never failed to make me smile. Rest in peace, beautiful girl. I love you.

I remember being in a class called Counseling and Mental Health with Ella Ryan senior year of high school. We were never close friends, but she was always so kind to me and such a great listener. She always treated everyone with care and love.

Ellaryan was such a light to so many people. There are no words to express how it feels to be here without her. She was always so supportive of me and got me through some of my hardest times in college. She always brought so much joy to my life and never failed to make me laugh or cheer me up when I was down. Ella Ryan was a client of mine for two years. I’ve always said my job means so much more than making someone feel beautiful. She didn’t need me, she truly was beautiful all on her own. The impact she makes is huge! I’ll be thinking of her always

My heart breaks for your family and friends.  There was no one like you, sweet girl.  The short time you were in our lives,  you brought so many laughs and wonderful memories that have never left me- and never will.  On my hardest days, you were the one that made me smile.  You left such a big imprint on my heart and forever it will stay!

It’s hard to know what to say… We can’t imagine the pain and loss you are feeling and pray that God gives you some kind of comfort knowing He will love her and care for her. Had the honor of loving and being loved by this amazing girl. El could light up a room. She was the best listener and I could talk to her for hours and forget I was talking to someone much younger than me. She treated everyone she met with kindness. Everyone should take a page from her book. She will be missed in our house more than words could possibly express.

please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I met Ell during my semester abroad and even though we didn’t have as much time together as I wished, the moments we shared were so special and full of love. She welcomed me into her life so quickly and wholeheartedly.

I regret every day I didn’t see her and every question I never asked because I truly feel I lost one of the best friendships I could have had. Ell was so loved and I will miss and love her until we meet again.

I had the honor of meeting and getting to know EllaRyan through my brother, Christian. Getting to know her beautiful soul, her love for her dogs, and how true she was to herself is something that always stood out to me. I’m confident anyone who knows Ell, knows she is one of a kind. 

I’m so grateful for the moments we shared, celebrating her high school graduation, my wedding, and holidays with our family. On my wedding day, she stood out in the sweetest way, patiently waiting for photos to finish, sitting on a little cooler in her beautiful light green dress, passing out waters to everyone. No one asked her to do it, she simply saw the need and stepped in. That’s how I always saw Ell, serving others quietly, joyfully, and with that beautiful smile.

Ell has always had an impact on me & how she treated others, making everyone feel important, loved, and cared for. She didn’t just listen, she showed you she heard you through her actions. I saw that in her from the very beginning, and it never changed. That’s simply who she is.

My heart and prayers are with everyone who loved EllaRyan. May God wrap you in His peace, strength, and comfort during this time.

This was us right after the conversation about being seniors this year. I now get to go through this year with her by my side— every single step of the way🩵 EllaRyan you will never be forgotten. I could write books on how you brought something special to every person you met and every room you walked in to.
