Frank Tyus Narron, Jr. died peacefully at his home on Monday, February 17, 2025. Frank was born in Johnston County on December 9, 1950, to the late Frank T. Narron and Helen Parnell Austin. One of Franks greatest passions was spending time with his family and with his church family, both of whom he loved dearly. You would most often find Frank in front of a TV watching the Andy Griffith Show. His wife believes he might have been the biggest fan in history of the show, he was also a huge Elvis Presley fan. Frank worked in the textile industry for many years before he became a delivery driver for Stone Heavy Duty and Fleetpride, which he did for 30 years before he retired in 2015.
In addition to his parents, Frank is also preceded in death by his son, Brandon Narron; stepmother, Faye Narron Myers; stepfather, Carl Sauls Austin, Jr.; brothers, Jeff Narron and Charles Edward Narron.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Narron; daughter, Cynthia Narron; sons, Terry Narron and his wife Melinda, Brian Narron and his wife, Jan; grandson, Carter Bomar; granddaughters, Riley Narron, Ashley Narron Woolard (Tony), and Hayley Narron Dallas (Ben); three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Narron (Pam), Gary Narron, and Ricky Narron; and several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Frank will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 3:00pm at Powhatan Free Will Baptist Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00. The interment will follow the services in the church cemetery.
