Helen Barbour Honeycutt, the daughter of the late David Exum and Rosa Medlin Barbour passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at the age of 90. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with Rev. Billie Lawson officiating. She is survived by her son; Larry Honeycutt and wife Maria, daughters; Carol Lewis and (Mervin Markham), Kathy Stuckey and husband Ronnie, Debbie Gorsuch and husband David, Vickie Duren and husband Ed, brother; Bill Barbour and wife Jean, sisters; Shirley Holland and husband Charles, Peggy McAllister and husband Louis, along with eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Burlon Braxton Honeycutt. The family will receive friends on Thursday prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:30. While flowers are accepted, memorial contributions may also be made to the Wilson Mills Baptist Church Building Fund at 652 Swift Creek Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
