Jesse Howard McConnell, 77, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 3:30pm on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Pinecrest Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife: Carolyn L. McConnell, daughters; Donna Sorrell and her husband Craig, Leigh Anne Dupree and her husband Rodney, sister; Mary Alice Calhoun, brother; Gene McConnell, grandchildren; Krista Dupree, Candace Dupree and Alayna Sorrell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Macedonia Church, 7100 Holly Springs Rd., Raleigh, NC 27606 or to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
