Mack went peacefully to be with the Lord on October 2nd at age 85. A native of Johnston County, NC and current resident of Clayton, NC. Mack was the son of Herman Daniels and Inez Daniels Sullivan. Mack is survived by his wife, Patricia Hinnant Daniels “Pat”, as well as a daughter, Jody Daniels Castleberry and step sons, Van Narron (Debbie) and Jerome Narron (Pat). He is also survived by brothers, Randy Daniels, Keith Daniels and sister, Betty Daniels Marshall. Preceding Mack in death are his parents and siblings, Clyde Daniels, Jackie Daniels Hudson, Ed Daniels and Joyce Daniels Adams Poole. His surviving grandchildren are: Jenna Castleberry Payton (Ryan), Daniel Reid Castleberry (Kristy), Joseph Baca, step grandchildren Brian Narron (Vannesa), Jaime Pope (Cameron), Jessica Younger (Avery), Jeremy Narron (Sarah). His great-grandchildren: Aubrey Payton, Everett Payton, Clay Castleberry, Cooper Castleberry and baby Castleberry (due in March 2022), also step great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Kylee, Channing, Reynolds, Eason, Turner, Colton, Everette, Scarlett and Walton who knew him as Papa Mack. His passion was his grading company and his love for animals. He always owned horses, dogs and cats who followed him around.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 411 N Fayetteville St, Clayton, North Carolina 27520, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Face mask are requested.
