Joyce Johnson Edwards, 78, the daughter of the late Jay A. and Lula Wood Johnson died Thursday, February 9, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Knollwood Memorial Park with Rev. Roger Hill officiating. She is survived by her daughters; Brenda Valadez and Darlene Valadez, a son; Buddy Edwards, her brother; Jesse Johnson, 14 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters; Annie Mae Allen, Lois Allen, Lillie Woodard, Patricia Byrd and a brother, Leroy Johnson.
