Judy Ann Wood

CLAYTON – Judy Ann Anderson Wood, age 73, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 28, 2021 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends form 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Sunday, March 28, 2021 prior to the service.

Judy was born October 19, 1947 in Johnston County to the late John Anderson and the late Mavis Belle Williams Anderson. She was retired as an office administrator with Farm Bureau Insurance. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and playing on her IPad.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Johnny Brian Wood and 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Wood, Sr.; children, Jerry Jr. Of Timberlake NC and Jennifer Hale (Ellis) of Clayton NC; grandchildren, Dustin Sanders of Raleigh NC , Brittany Jones (Kenneth) Wilson's Mill NC; step grandchildren Cody Hale Of Garner and Skylar Hale of Roanoke VA.; 2 step great grandsons Kaleb and Kaison Hale; brothers, James Anderson, Danny Anderson (Sherry) and Donnie Anderson; sisters Janise Lockamy and Rhonda Worrells; and many nieces and nephews.
